Are you a new
Physician Assistant?
Congratulations!
Whether you recently passed your PANCE, or you are currently in the first years of clinical practice, this message is for you. Our profession is one of the most sought after careers in the United States, and you’ve officially succeeded in securing a place here. Yet, once you graduate and receive certification and licensure, there is limited support offered to physician assistants, especially individual support. I get it.
Our role can be satisfying and life changing. We can make a huge impact as we serve our patients, and yet it can be challenging to feel whole as we practice medicine. While professional and personal fulfillment is attainable as a PA, in our current medical landscape, it may feel impossible to cultivate it, or to even know where to start.
New PA’s may experience happiness, terror, gratitude, anxiety, relief, overwhelm….all while still reeling from the whirlwind 2 years spent earning a master’s degree. I provide the scaffolding you need-including boundaries, burnout prevention, interpersonal navigation with physicians, communication with patients, organization of the vast swaths of medical knowledge we must synthesize-and anything that you may experience as a new PA.
I am so happy that you’ve joined our profession, and am excited to be a part of your journey during this formative time!
